In the early 1500s, Leonardo Da Vinci illustrated "La Davina," a book by mathematician Luca Pacioli, who described a mathematical principle called the "Golden Ratio" that was used in Renaissance paintings and sculptures to achieve balance and beauty. The Gold Deck of Cards features unique designs inspired by Renaissance art and the Golden Ratio.
